Xiaomi 12 Series rear panel appears
Introduction
Xiaomi 12 series will be released soon. As soon as 12.12.2021. But, according to a very famous tipster DCS, the official reveal of the series will be on 28.12.2021.
This supposed Xiaomi 12 series render is already circulating on Twitter and Weibo. But, the question is: Is this the render of the next flagship smartphone or maybe from a phone the company launched in September?
The question is valid because the supposedly leaked render is very similar to the Xiaomi CIVI smartphone.
But let’s focus on something more interesting. Leaks showing the Xiaomi 12 series rear panel of the standard model. From this image we can actually see the design of the device.
Xiaomi 12 Series Leaked Specifications
The main camera will host three lenses, with one big hole for the main shooter. As you can see there are two more cameras right bellow it. The flash and the microphone are placed next to them.
Earlier this month Xiaomi posted a teaser on Twitter, confirming that the new Xiaomi 12 will be the first phone hosting the latest Qualcomm chipset. We are talking about the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1.

Besides the chipset we know that Xiaomi 12 phone will feature a 50MP primary camera as well. But, there are rumors that the camera may just be a 200 Megapixel one. This rumor was started because of the observed size of the sensor (being a full inch). Nevertheless, there is a chance that the Ultra variant of the Mi 12 series might have it.
The display also seems very promising. If he leak is true then we are looking at an LTPO panel which will support a variable frame rate with a range between 1 and 120 Hz. With a resolution at, a quite decent 2000 pixels.
It seems that the more realistic scenario is that the standard version is released with a 50MP camera, 5x zoom, one ultrawide and one periscope telephoto snapper. The Pro and Ultra models will get different configurations.
However even if the standard edition doesn’t host a 200 MP camera we know that megapixels are far from the deciding factor when it comes to making great shots. My point is – don’t let megapixel count lead your judgment.
In terms of battery and charging, all the leaks are pointing toward an outstanding 100 and 120 Watts wireless and wired charging capabilities.
Xiaomi already showcased their amazing fast charging technology at the end of May this year. The following video demonstrates the new technology.
The device used in the video had a 4000 mAh battery which was charged to 100% in only 15 minutes with the wireless method. The wired method charged the phone in only 8 minutes.
Now all we can do is sit tight and wait for the release. Specs will be out soon and we will post them on TechInDeep. So, stay tuned for more news.
