Spotify has begun offering new features for its customers who bought the family plan. As of today, the company has included new features available in Ireland in the family tariff. Spotify parental filter was released in this context. This will prevent “Explicit” songs from being listened to by children.
The family account allows up to five family members, including the account holder, to be included in the system and pay a single fee. Premium membership is offered separately in everyone’s own account. In order to be able to activate this filter, the account holder who made the payment has to make the transaction. When the process is done, the children in the sub account must enter the PIN code specified to turn this feature off.
Another feature added outside the parental filter was the common playlist. Spotify analyzes the music that family members listen to and will create a playlist that all family members can listen to.
