Redmi Note 9 series is set to release in China on 24th November. Although we were not sure about the exact release date first but recently the news was confirmed on Weibo where the information was officially published claiming that the phone will release on next Tuesday i.e. 24th November. The phone was spotted on TENAA with the model number M2007J17C. A device with the same model number was then seen on Geekbench where it can be concluded that it has a Snapdragon 750G running the show. This might be the Note 9 Pro 5G, higher end variant of the Note 9 series. Geekbench also suggests that the device was running on Android 10 at the time this test was conducted however it can be expected that it may ship with Android 11 out of the box or will be updated shortly to it after launch.
Photo of the device appeared on TENAA where it resembles the Mi 10T Lite 5G from the back.
Furthermore, it is expected that the device will be powered by a 5000mAh battery keeping in track with all the other Note 9 series phones. The screen is expected to be a Full HD+ LCD display and about 6.67 inches in size. Variants of the device may range between 4 GB, 6 GB, 8 GB of RAM and 64 GB, 128 GB and 256 GB of storage respectively.
