Xiaomi released an official MIUI-based Android Q version for the Mi 9 and K20 Pro models this day. Android Q is currently being tested as Beta. When Google officially releases Android Q in September, Xiaomi will release it as Stable.
The update with version number 9.8.8 was given for the Chinese version. Check the update if you are using the Chinese Beta version. Beta version may have bugs both by Android and by MIUI. If you do not want to encounter bugs, do not update to this version.
Don’t worry if you’re using last year’s flagship devices. Xiaomi didn’t forget you. Android Q tests for the Mi 8, Mi 8 Explorer Edition, Mi 8 UD, Mi MIX 2S, Mi MIX 3, Mi 9 SE, Redmi Note 7 and Redmi Note 7 Pro models will start soon!
We don’t know exactly what features come with the Android Q update. You can now force dark mode for all apps!
Xiaomi replaced Android version Easter Egg with Android 10.
If you have not received the update and are looking forward to it, you can access the update files below. If you are not familiar with how to install it, we do not recommend it. We are not responsible for any mistakes you make.
