Paid subscription services are becoming increasingly widespread in the digital world. Introduced to Xbox One users in 2014, EA Access was released for PlayStation 4 users after a 5-year hiatus. The service offers almost all of the latest generation games to PS4 users.
EA Access provides users with access to Vault as well as offering a 10-hour trial and discounts on all of their games. Vault is a service in which EA’s previously released games can be downloaded free of charge by players.
EA Access’s current library is almost the same on both platforms. Players on both platforms can now enjoy Battlefield V, Star Wars Battlefront II, Need for Speed Payback, Fe, Battlefield 4 and many sports games. The only exception here is Titanfall, which has never been released for PS4. However, the sequel Titanfall 2 can be downloaded from the Vault.
