But about this support, still there are some bad news coming out.

Valve annouced that Steam will not support ubuntu anymore after 19.10 version. With this move we can clearly see this is end of era for 32 bit components for Ubuntu. The fact that Ubuntu is moving away from 32 bit packages causes problem for Steam. Some linux games have only 32 bit support and the reason they can play at Ubuntu has 32 bit support. Valve make this decision to not having compatibility problems at new Ubuntu version.

Valve’s worker named by Pierre-Loup Griffais tweeted:
“Ubuntu 19.10 and future releases will not be officially supported by Steam or recommended to our users. We will evaluate ways to minimize breakage for existing users, but will also switch our focus to a different distribution, currently TBD.”

End of the day, Ubuntu users will either have to stick with an old version of their gavorite Linux distro, or switch to something different.
